Thanksmas

 

Some Individuals will make this an Excursion to their Faith. This Celebration in no way diminishes the Religious traditions associated to any Date or Belief.

 
Instead, this Invites all Faiths to Join together, either by Date, or Tradition, or simple Intention. As ChoiUists, by whatever Religion, we Agree that, in addition to Individual Beliefs and the Symbols associated, we Celebrate Thanksmas in This Way:

 
After the Harvest comes a Quiet to the year, when the Land rests after its Provision. As the Earth Quietens, so do our Spirits, and We Turn withIn.

 
We Welcome into our Homes the Memories, it’s Symbols of Family and Faith. In addition to our Individual Symbols We Celebrate by

 
A Traditional Tree. To different Beings, this will mean different things, but each should be place in an area of Prominence, and decorated with Symbols of Meaning; including People, Places, and Ideas.

 
CandelLight. Not all Beings are within the Same State at all Times. No matter who much we may feel the need, We cannot always join to Celebrate Together. At one Agreed Time, a flame of Designation should be lit, with Prayer and Thanksgiving. Let this Flame always burn with the Direction of Love, Independent of Dogma or even Belief. We are United in this this Existence, and Blessed to Share this Moment.

 
Gathering. At a time and place Designated by Those Taking Responsibility, the Klan should be Gathered to Share Time and Blessings. Ideally a meal should be presented, and those with abundance should give what they may. NO GIFTS should be given beyond the exchange of current information (pictures and such.)

 
Gifts. Those with Abundance can chose to give this time to Share. They can do this in a manner of their convenience, including providing food for a shared meal, or bundles to be taken upon leaving. Proving specialized food for specialized diets are significant to all Gatherings.
