Not everyone survives a stay in the hospital.  Not everyone who dies is a good person.  We would like to think that the residue of what people leave behind does not stay in a place, but travels to some Great Beyond.  Some of us have convinced ourselves that this is the truth while others of us know reality to be different.

We made it a point to visit this place before we decided to move here.  The spiritual energy of a renovated hospital could be detrimental to a sensitive individual like me.  Touring the open halls of this quiet monument to times past there lingered but a touch of those left behind.  It seemed the living had so impressed themselves that the residue of the dead had receded.  True not everyone exuded only pleasantness, however even the unfriendly did not seem to carry daemons.

At that time we only toured the main building basking in the peaceful park-like setting.  Knowing the mountains, even these foothills, held a serene magic for me, we were enchanted enough to make this our home.  As with all places, eventually we learned that there were spots of discomfort, and though they were isolated, individuals could bring with them daemons to draw on any malevolence nearby.

Sometimes we are not aware of negative energies that we carry with us, especially those with mental health issues unresolved.  Pain and tiredness may make some grumpy, but that is not to say they are evil.  When a daemon arrives clutching the heart of true insanity, the darkness restrained in others will thrive.

There are specific pitches that are unpleasant to the human ear, and a person with such a voice should be avoided.  It is but one sign of ill will to come.  An animal who keeps their distance or cannot be soothed in the irritation caused by such a person is another sign of a troubled spirit.  They bring illness and agitation in their wake.
